Riboflavin

  • Essential for healthy skin and hair
  • May be depleted by certain medications
  • May help prevent migraine headaches

Riboflavin (vitamin B2) is the central component in two cofactors: flavin mononucleotide (FMN) and Flavin adenine dinucleotide (FAD). As such, it is required for other enzyme reactions including the activation of other vitamins. Riboflavin is important for red blood cell production and helps the body in releasing energy.
